The enterprise was founded on March 17, 1995 to manufacture
vodka and tinctures according the concept of the high-quality
Russian national drink suggested by V.N. Vinogradov.
In the concept there are incorporated classical requirements
to strength and purity of the product; there has been envisaged
use of the best and without fail natural components and development
of original recipes on the basis of rich Russian traditions
and achievements of science, creation and promotion of national
brands presenting advantages of vodka and tinctures.
The plant's emphasizes continuity in this kind of manufacture.
Before the revolution of 1917 in Moscow there existed firm
"Stolichny Trust" whose alcoholic production was
in great demand not only in Russia but also abroad.
Technical basis of the plant is the up-to-date industrial
and laboratory equipment giving a possibility to solve the
most complicated problems, for example, to provide extremely
accurate dosage of components, to bring purification of water
and the finished product up to the established level. Appliances
used by the laboratory give a possibility to find out the
smallest amounts of impurities and even separate molecules
thereof.
The pride of "Stolichny Trust" is the people characterized
by not only professionalism, discipline and responsibility
but also by their quivering, zealous attitude towards the
business and the products. In fact, it was noticed long time
ago that consumers notice goods in which a part of their creator's
heart has been put with their sixth feeling.
In the country there are very few manufactures at which care
is taken not only of purity and utility, but also about taste
of the product, about pleasure of using thereof. Huge forces
and means are being spent here to choose the best components,
to grind technologies and to carry the drinks to perfection.
"Stolichny Trust" has become the first enterprise
in the country at which the role of tasting researches is
as important as the role of laboratory methods. It is connected
with the fact that many particular features of quality are
inaccessible even for the most sensitive devices. They can
only be determined by their organoleptic parameters.
All experts of the plant have got diplomas of professional
tasters being the member of the tasting commission and regularly,
not less often than once a week, estimate the spirit coming
and finished drinks as well as production manufactured by
competitors. This experience has caused great interest at
enterprises of food branch of Russia.
It is became the external factor that has become the important
condition of success of "Stolichny Trust" namely
a unique infrastructure in which there have been technologically
incorporated three enterprises being members of the group
of companies "Vinogradov" namely: the distillery,
grain elevator and agricultural firm. For the first time in
the branch history quality of drinks is purposefully formed
from the moment of planting wheat that is the basic raw material
for manufacturing spirit. In the interest of the finished
product there is carried out taking care of plants, harvesting,
storage and fermentation of grain on the grain elevator and,
certainly, manufacture of spirit.
The first star in the family of brands of "Stolichny
Trust" that has acquired the All-Russian popularity is
trade mark "Vinogradov" registered in August, 1999.
Subsequently there appeared such brands as "Stolichny
Trust", "Stolichny Doctor" and "Hunting
club". All of the vodka and tinctures which being manufactured
under these brands have deserved huge popularity and each
mark has got lots of admirers in all regions of this country.
High estimations are also regularly given to them at the
most prestigious exhibitions and competitions. Drinks manufactured
by "Stolichny Trust" have received more than a hundred
of medals and international class diplomas.
All products manufactured by the plant makes a great commercial
success. In 2004 they were being sold, depending on a specific
brand, from 85 up to 98 percent of Moscow shops. About 1500
trading enterprises are being served by the department of
minor wholesale in the capital and capital area.
Drinks manufactured by "Stolichny Trust" are realized
in sixty regions of the country from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka.
They are realized through seventy large distributors. Among
partners of the plant there are also the most powerful trading
networks such as "Metro", "The Seventh continent
", "Paterson", "The Copeck", "Mosmart",
"Magnet" and other "whales" of the foodstuff
market.
In 2004 there were sold 41.5 million bottles of production
manufactured by "Stolichny Trust". In the all-Russian
rating on sales volumes of alcoholic production the factory
takes the tenth place. In these ten companies there are some
ones manufacturing commodity spirit besides beverages. If
the share of commodity spirit is not taken into consideration,
the will go up to the fifth place.
One cannot be ashamed to present any drink made by "Stolichny
Trust to any person - to his friend, relative, colleague up
to deputies, ministers and heads of states. The huge number
of bottles is bought up on souvenirs. Moreover, at the plant
there is a special department which at customers' will decorates
vodka with symbolism of firms and private persons giving them
individual character.
Going towards wishes of consumers, in the first half of 2005
the plant carried out restyling of vodka and tinctures manufactured
under brand "Vinogradov". Decoration of the product
has become more modern and attractive using new creative and
technological opportunities. Simultaneously there was also
improved its contents that corresponds to the strategic direction
to systematic improvement of drinks quality.
Bottles have become a little bit taller elegant sides have
appeared thereupon with them became lighter as there has been
applied light-weight glass. The screw-top represents a combination
of a metal cap with plastic sparger that has been specially
developed for "Vinogradov" drinks. Labels used to
be printed on paper before and now they are printed on transparent
self-adhesive film. It has opened a new space for new graphic
decisions among them being, for example, the panorama of the
Kremlin with stereo effect.
In recipes partly improved and partly anew developed by experts
of the plant there is an accent made on superquality of components
and minimizing additives. For example, softness of vodka may
be provided by both adding sugar and bringing up to perfection
of spirit. "Stolichny Trust" has chosen the second
variant as more interesting for consumers. All drinks of "Vinogradov"
brand are being transferred from "Extra" spirit
to "De Luxe" one manufactured by the distillery
being a part of the group of companies.
The principle of the updated recipes is not more than two
additives for one grade of vodka. Their task is to introduce
only small piquancy not to interrupt classical vodka taste
and aroma in the high-quality vodka base. The direction of
the additives is easy fruit, berry and grain tone.
New home microadditives -namely "alphalux" and
"alphalux plus" shall protect the human organism,
first of all, the liver, from undesirable influence of alcohol.
They shall slow down oxidation of spirit into aldehydes that
is the main source of a headache and for this reason increase
pleasure of drinking.

There are also innovations in purification of the product.
Together with one of the enterprises of the defensive industry
there was created and applied a new and very effective filtering
material on the basis of coal from wood of firm breeds.
As demand for production of "Stolichny Trust" constantly
grows, the founders and collective of the enterprise have
started expanding the manufacture. According to the plan of
development the industrial capacity will increase three times.
The task of trebling of volumes should be solved for three,
at the maximum four years starting from the year of 2005.
Workers of the plant are proud of the enterprise and uphold
its reputation. Unity of the collective and improvement of
the microclimate is promoted by a large-scale social program
and, first of all, a fair system of remuneration of labor
taking into account contribution made by each worker. A good
tradition here is a free-of-charge having mealsfor the whole
personnel; there has been organized medical care for the personnel.
With its full complement the collective celebrates New year
and set out on a voyage by a steam-ship down the Moscow -
river and the Volga in summer.
The spirit of leadership that is peculiar to the collective
when manufacturing drinks is also revealed in sports life
in which there participate many plant workers. The ice-hockey
team and four teams of the plant football club are leading
in the region successfully participating in regional and All-Russian
sports arena.
